Tom Bruce, co-founder and director of the Legal Information Institute, testified on 16 June 2011 before the Subcommittee on Oversight of the Committee on House Administration of the U.S. House of Representatives.
In his testimony, Tom called for the House to adopt an XML-based, point-in-time approach to legislative data management, including bulk access, use of URN:LEX identifiers, and provision of metadata in RDF.
