You might want to mention that the link for the abstracts leads to a PDF file that apparently contains the program for the conference.
I was monetarily confused with the file started off with non-legal informatics materials. But thanks for the pointer!
The paper on the future of legal information retrieval sounds quite good. That lawyers, out of habit, keep using commercial tools that offer little value add really isn’t that surprising.
The same is true for chickens that are raised in windowless, doorless barns that are then provided a small single door to the outside so they can qualify as ‘free range.’ Having never been outside, they have no desire to go.
