Hoekstra: Presentation: A Network Analysis of Dutch Regulations – Using the Metalex Document Server

Dr. Rinke Hoekstra of the Leibniz Center for Law has posted a presentation entitled A Network Analysis of Dutch Regulations – Using the Metalex Document Server.

Here is the abstract:

In this paper we explore the possibilities of using the Linked Data representation of all Dutch regulations stored in the MetaLex Document Server for the purposes of network analysis over the citation graph between regulations, both at the document level, and at the article level. We show that this is possible using relatively straightforward SPARQL queries, and present preliminary results of the analysis.

Dr. Hoekstra says that this version of the presentation differs from earlier versions in that it includes “HITS as network measure.”
